Windy Ridge is a small country estate, situated high in the Cotswold hills, overlooking the Evenlode Valley. This beautiful family home displays some wonderful features, mullioned windows, gables and Norfolk reed thatched roofs. Visitors here are offered generously furnished bedrooms and a large pine-panelled sitting room.

The house is set in prize winning gardens. There is an outdoor summer heated swimming pool, tennis court, croquet lawn, billiards/snooker room and a 10 acre arboretum, for guests' enjoyment. This central position is perfect for exploring all of the Cotswolds' most renowned touring 'gems'.

Half a mile away is the historic village of Longborough, with its attractive huddle of 17th-century stone cottages. Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold are 2.5 miles away. The local pub, The Coach and Horses, is a two minute walk.

There are three beautifully furnished bedrooms all overlooking the prize winning gardens. Each room has its own individual style. All rooms have TV's and tea and coffee making facilities.

The Sitting room: For guest to use at any time. Spacious, but very cosy, with pine-panelled walls. Large, soft, comfortable settees, surrounded by fascinating ornaments and antiques, make this room the ideal place for relaxing with the morning papers or for resting after sight-seeing in the Cotswolds. There is also a television and video for entertainment and a bar with 'honesty box!!'

The Dining rooms: Choose from our menu - a hearty full English to a Continental style breakfast which is served in one of our two rooms. The formal dining room with its substantial 19th-Century Mahogany dining table or in the Garden room with its indoor pond, fountain and exotic plants. On warm summer days breakfast can be served outdoors. The housekeeper is pleased to cater for any special dietary requirements you may have. Please mention when booking.

The prize winning gardens at Windy Ridge are beautifully maintained with flower gardens, shrubs and trees all landscaped in a patchwork of well-manicured lawns and hedges. In addition, there is the 10 acre arboretum with over 280 different species of trees. It is well worth exploring.
