A cosy, Grade II, Four Star, cottage full of character, with 4 guest bedrooms ; 3 double, 1 twin, 3 en-suite, 1 with private bathroom. Only a stones throw away from breathtaking views of the Devon coast and countryside and situated on the heritage coast in the Regency town of Sidmouth.

Ideal centre for both keen and novice walkers with many walks inland and along the world famous Jurassic coast. Sidmouth has more than one golf course to choose from .Pretty and accessible garden, may be used by guests all year round with children's play area and good seating. (Children must be supervised by parents).

We are located 200Yds from the seafront and almost as close to many interesting shops boutiques and bistros. The well supported Manor Theater is directly across the road and houses the art centre. We are a non-smoking establishment where you may eat, drink and sleep smoke-free. All guests have access to a plentiful supply of books and board games.Each room has a colour TV , en-suite or private bathroom, hair dryer, storage and tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk provided daily. Healthy and tasty breakfast :
Award winning, locally made produce is used in our breakfast menu. All cooked food is freshly prepared each morning and good things are worth waiting for (slow food). Vegetarian meals can be catered for with advance warning. If you need to leave early in the morning with no time for breakfast ... no problem, we can provide a room only service at a reduced cost.

All rooms are non-smoking with tea and coffee making facilities, alarm clock, TV, hairdryer and storage. All rooms are on the first floor. Breakfast is normally served between 8:30—9:30 but can be changed by arrangement.

Another aspect of Rose Cottage is our beach hut. Enjoy a day in your own beach hut overlooking the wonderful Jacob's Ladder. Explore the rock pools at low tide and enjoy the beautiful sandy beach. Rose Cottage has a beach hut available for hire at £8.00 per day from May to September.
