Solcett is a large detached bungalow set amidst the cornish countryside. We are a family run Bed and Breakfast in Illogan in Beautiful Cornwall. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome and hospitality and our aim is to make your stay at Solcett one that will be a unique and memorable experience. To achieve this you can be assured of our personal service throughout your stay.

Solcett is located close to the North Cornwall coast with its many beautiful beaches and walks. The Eden Project, Falmouth Maritime Museum and the Tate Gallery in St. Ives are all within easy reach.
We are open all year round with the exception of Christmas time. We charge £35 per person per night.

Accommodation
Both bedrooms have new Freeview TV's with built in DVD players and a selection of DVD are available for our guests to enjoy. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the mattress's pillows etc are hygenically cleaned regularly by "Matress Medics".  We provide Crabtree & Evelyn toilitries and dressing gowns and slippers help to pamper our guests and help them feel relaxed.

Bedroom 1 is a dual aspect family room sleeping up to 4. Decorated in pale peach and terracotta offers our guests high quality ensuite accomodation.

Bedroom 2 is a twin bedded room decorated in cream and taupe and despite being smaller in size has the same facilities as the family room.

We have available a family room with large screen television and DVD player with Sky. There are a wide range of board games and a few packs of cards to relax with.

We also have a sunny conservatory for you to use and of course the balcony with a beautiful view of our garden with a large fish pond with various fish and a trickling waterfall.
A lovely way to unwind with a glass of wine in the summer.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the guests lounge/diner or on the veranda on warm sunny mornings.

A full cooked Cornish breakfast using homemade or locally sourced products or a continental breakfast is available if preferred.  You are welcome to bring in or order meals from take away restaurants if you like.

A cornish cream tea and/or homemade cakes are available to our guests on arrival and both bedrooms are fully equipped with Tea and Coffee making facilities with fresh milk in small fridges located in each bedroom.

Tehidy Park offers a challenging and picturesque 18 hole, Par 71 parkland course set in rolling countryside near the Cornish fishing village of Portreath. With beautiful panaromic views over the surrounding Cornish countryside Tehidy is a course suitable for golfers at all levels of skill and experience.                  

West Cornwall Golf Club 10 miles
Although not quite measuring 6000 yards the testing quality of West Cornwall lies in the fact that it has no mercy on a bad or timid shot. Invariably played in anything from a light breeze to a force 9 the course has many defences, but attack it and you should then be able to enjoy the 19th hole.  West Cornwall Golf Club is very proud to be the ‘oldest club in the county’ and welcomes members and visitors alike to enjoy their hospitality

An "in town" course, with a rural feel, the Truro Golf Club is a jewel hidden in the middle of the picturesque Town of Truro.  Situated at the head of the Bay of Fundy, our winds and weather are greatly influenced by the tides.    Rolling greens, wide fairways, lots of trees, water and sand...... what more could a golfer ask for?

One of the finest links courses in the south west, Perranporth boasts spectacular panoramic views throughout this championship course. With stunning views over the sea and the extensive golden sands below, few courses are better placed than this. So, pause a moment on the 5th and 14th tees and take in the truly spectacular scenery of which you could never tire
