Welcome to North Cornwall's Caradoc of Tregardock, a place to relax and be inspired. Here there are crashing breakers, wild flowers, sea birds and vast, open skies. Walk down to the tidal beach and make footprints in its 2 miles of golden sand, explore the rock pools or surf the waves if you dare.
The accommodation is in converted farm buildings set around a grassy courtyard, with west-facing patios designed for watching sunsets over the twinkling Atlantic. The main house sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms and a large drawing room overlooking the ocean. Downstairs, a family room and kitchen are decked out with a Rayburn and wood-burning stove.
Julian's House sleeps four in one double and one twin that share a bathroom. A separate 60 foot studio adjoins both houses. Surrounded by 250 acres of farmland, in the haven of Tregardock, opt for Bed and Breakfast accommodation or self-catering in style. Caradoc (the main house) sleeps up to 8 (4 up and 4 down) in 4 double/twin rooms, each with their own bathroom (zip-link beds give you the flexibility of king-size doubles or large single beds). Couples can bag the privacy of the upstairs suite with its super-king-size bed, open kitchen and drawing room with a log burning fire. Julian's House sleeps four in one double and one twin that share a bathroom. The accommodation can be rented out for 1-12 guests, on a B&B or self-catering, basis. Tregardock Farmhouse also does B&B. Tregardock Pods : New to Tregardock this year is the addition of three Pods; these are like micro lodges for the camper that loves the outdoors, but without the tent. Sympathetically designed to fit in with the countryside these structures are attractively finished and very cosy with curved wooden walls insulated with sheep's wool.There are two sizes of Pod available; one family size that will accommodate two adults and three children and two standard sized pods that will accommodate two adults and one small child.

Situated a few miles north of Port Isaac, Tregardock is a haven for walkers that want to explore a remote and staggering section of the South West Coast Path (it's often possible to walk for hours in each direction without seeing another soul). Head south past Port Gaverne to the restaurants, craft shops and fishing harbour of Port Isaac, and north to Trebarwith Strand, Tintagel and, eventually, Boscastle.
Beaches: As well as our own beautiful tidal beach (Tregardock beach), we are well positioned for Trebawith Strand, Polzeath, (for surfing and surfing lessons) the famous Daymer Bay and water sport haven of Rock is a 15 minute drive. Other day-trips include the Eden Project and St Ives – an artists' paradise crammed with galleries and beautiful scenery.
Golf courses all within 40 minutes drive
St Enodoc Golf Club : Ranked 55th in the World for 2009 by Golf Digest for courses outside the United States St Enodoc has one of the finest links golf courses in the South West of England with everything you would expect from a James Braid design; undulating fairways, firm greens, some blind shots and all with the added bonus of some of the greatest sea and estuary views on any course in the world.
Trevose Golf Club : Featuring an outstanding championship links course and two excellent nine-hole loops. Trevose is a stern test of golf. . There are four teeing areas to choose from, and the par 71 links stretches out to a stern 6,600 yards from the back tees. The crumpled fairways are generous in width and the rough is kept short to keep up the speed of play and prevent too many lost balls. Some regard Trevose as holiday golf, but the course is technically challenging and will test the very best golfers.
Roserrow golf Club : par 72, 18 hole golf course in beautiful north cornwall, incorporating a wooded valley with a stream with views towards Polzeath beach.
Lanhydrock Golf Course : Over the years Lanhydrock near Bodmin has been beautifully moulded into the landscape and this has produced a course that offers an enjoyable challenge to golfers of all abilities.
Bowood Park Golf Club : The par 72 course runs to 6,692 yards for the men, 5,700 for the ladies and is set up in a way which should maximise enjoyment for all standards of golfer. The well-drained greens, bmeans the course rarely closes in inclement weather, and in winter tees and greens are in full use - no temporaries.
St Mellion Golf & Country Club : Set in 450 acres of stunning Cornish countryside, St Mellion has two championship golf courses, including the UK’s first Jack Nicklaus designed ‘Signature Course’. This famous West Country resort has hosted the Benson & Hedges International Open on six occasions and most recently the English Seniors Open, firmly securing St Mellion’s position as one of the finest venues for golf in the South West.
St Kew Golf Course : Delightful parkland 9 hole course now with 18 separate tees, 10 par fours and 8 par threes. Set in beautiful countryside with views to Camel Estuary.
Bude and North Cornwall Golf Course : Challenging links course established in 1891. Excellent drainage enables the course to be playable throughout the year off regular tees and greens, making it one of Cornwall's finest golf courses
Launceston Golf Club : The elevated levels of Launceston Golf Club offer spectacular countryside views over both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, while in the foreground we have majestic views of our historic town and castle. The club originates back to 1910 and is now a well established 6385 yard par 70 parkland course. It offers an excellent and challenging round of golf for all standards of golfers.
